Haunted Happenings Parade
Thursday, October 7, 2010 | 6:30 PM.
Presented by the Salem Chamber of Commerce, Salem-Chamber.org, this year's parade will have the theme, "Around the Globe." The parade will begin at Shetland Properties on Congress Street and end at Salem Common. The route is as follows: Congress Street to Derby Street to Lafayette Street to Front Street to Washington Street to Essex Street to Salem Common.
Mayor's Night Out
Friday, October 9, 2009 | 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Salem residents, with Photo Identification (youngsters may use school i.d., bus pass or library card), are admitted free to the attractions listed below. Parking in the Museum Place Mall and South Harbor garages is free for Salem residents after 4:00 pm. Residents are also welcome to come enjoy the downtown shops and restaurants that evening. Trick-or-Treat with the Mayor – 5:30 PM
Meet at the East India Fountain at 5:30pm. We will trick-or-treat up and down Essex Street Pedestrian Mall, into the shops at Museum Place Mall, and beyond! Trick-or-Treat Bags will be provided. Costumes are encouraged.
